Matt
Matt has been a professional engineer for 22 years working predominantly in the Design Department at Triumph Motorcycles. He has held technical roles including Design Engineer, Project Engineer and Senior Specialist Engineer as well as leadership roles, both in new model design and specialist engineering services. He was the hiring manager for the Powertrain Design Department for seven years and was involved in all aspects of recruitment. He has been involved in designing many iconic Triumph models from small single cylinder bikes to the 2500cc Rocket 3 and torquey classics like the Bonneville to high revving Moto2 engines. It is this experience that has built his expertise in solving complex engineering problems.
Matt studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton, graduating with a 1st class Masters degree and winning the Pilkington prize for the best multidisciplinary project in the Faculty of Engineering. He was chartered in 2008.

Matt is also an FA qualified football coach and coaches a local youth team. He enjoys riding his Scrambler motorcycle whenever he gets the chance and wildlife photography, being a member of the Leicestershire Wildlife Trust.
